Getting a Blade Ready
We looked at our line up of knives for a good candidate to try actually shaving with. Our Trillium paring knife seemed like it would be easiest to use in front of a mirror so we chose it. While we ship our knives sharp enough to shave arm hair, Mike went a bit further, polishing the cutting edge of the chosen blade on strops embedded with 6, 3 and 1 micron diamond paste.

With beard and knife ready, what was needed next was a pleasant setting and a video camera to capture the event. Here is the result:
